Developer Relations Engineer
Our first thousand users will come from developers who tried Y0, hit a wall, and met someone who fixed the wall instead of writing a blog post about it. That someone is you. This is an engineering job with an audience, not a marketing job with a GitHub account.
What you will do
Be the first responder for developers in our community — Discord, GitHub issues, support escalations — and turn every recurring question into a docs fix or a product issue.
Write the guides and examples you wish existed, in the brand voice: plain, honest, runnable.
Build real things on the platform in public — demos that survive being cloned at 2am by a stranger.
Own the SDK quickstarts across languages and keep time-to-first-run under five minutes, measured, not vibes.
Feed the roadmap with what developers actually hit, with reproduction cases attached.
What we need
3+ years as a working software engineer. You can read a stack trace in our SDKs and often fix the bug yourself.
You write unusually well. Send us something you wrote; we will read it before your CV.
Genuine patience for beginners and genuine impatience for broken docs.
Comfortable being publicly wrong and correcting it fast.
You have shipped at least one thing — OSS, product, tool — that strangers used.
Nice to have
An existing audience of developers, of any size, that you earned with substance.
Experience with agent frameworks and their failure modes.
Conference talks or workshop teaching experience.
